$181 + $25 shipping for a Buck Metro?!? :O

I was looking around on a website named after a certain RAINFOREST ;)

I saw that the Buck Metro is being sold by a seller for $181 and $25 shipping. I also see another dealer selling this same knife for $50. Could someone explain the sellers logic? How does he get the idea he will get someone to pay that kind of money?

Does the Metro cost more now that it's discontinued?
 
Yes, they do but not $50 or $180 expensive. They were around $10-12 and I have a couple and they are awesome keychain knives but not $50 awesome. They are also counterfeited by China now. I have seen them selling for much less than $50 on ebay, mostly used ones.
 
Hahaha, funny right? I see so many knives priced way above what they are worth these days. If you make contact with any of them they get defensive and or mad. While out fishing the other day, I saw something nice swimming in someone's store. However, they want 4x what it is really worth. I attempted communication and was met with an angry wall. Oh well, the world is covered with a big ocean and I'll find one at the right price washed up on a nice beach some day. All you have to do is be informed and be patient.

Or ASBEM. They're all over ebay. Rare, one of a kind...troll the teaser long enough, something will bite.
