I have two version of how many numbers were produce when buck went into production on the 184 in late November of 1984. My information is leading me to believe that the method used in the begining was a tool die set that would cut the blank from sheet stock do to the width of the blade being the main problem and lack of technology i.e water jets or lasers. There were aroung 200 produce if my information is correct. Does anyone have information to the contrary? I have a very early run and would like to identify by production manner. I was told the first run was made in Bucks tool room and the blades were thicker than the forged blanks. Does anyone have a spec on this? I would be interested in anyones view and where they may have received there information from. Thanks all!
