First intentional deba, to be tested by my fisherman/shop-landlord on tuna and other mid-sized ocean fish. Feedback and revisions as necessary.
185mm/7" of 4mm/0.156" thick 1084, katalox and G10. 284g/10oz total weight, this thing is a beast.
Target edge hardness is 61.5Rc.
Thanks to GSOM for introducing me to the katalox.
I really dig making these rough-finish working knives in addition to the hand-sanded stuff.

Thanks for looking.

Thanks, fellas. Every time I pick it up, I think: "That's a knoife!"

Just added an open-top-for-washing saya, since this will not live in a kitchen, but rather be put to use on a fishing boat. It may not go in the sheath clean exactly every time...
I think dropping the tip on the saya came out a bit weird, but it's my first. ;)

Walnut with a poplar welt.
