Hey guy's so Iam looking at getting a ultrafire wf-139 charger and some 18650 batteries. Now ive heard that some protected cells dont fit with the wf-139 just wondering if that will be a problem with me as I own a Fenix tk15.Probally going to get some ultrafire protected 18650 from deal extreme.

any information is greatly appreciated.

thank you

+1 on CPF.

In the meantime, however, please do *not* get Deal Extreme batteries. Spend a little extra and get AW Protected 18650's.

Also, I would *highly* recommend a Pila IBC charger. Much safer overall than any of the cheap charging gadgets on the market. You can get away with the UF, but you should keep a multimeter on hand to continually make sure that your battery is not being overcharged.

I agree with antikythera. It's worth spending the extra on reputable LiIons cells. I also use the Pila charger myself. Just remember that the Pila charges at 600mA so it's best suited for cells with a minimum capacity of 600mAh. If you are only charging 18650s that shouldn't be a problem though.

Never had a problem with my Ultrafire charger and Tenergy 18650s.

Do yourself a favor and follow the excellent advice that's already been dispensed. Spending a little more now for the Pila charger and AW or Redilast protected 18650s will pay off in the long run.
