189 ruined for collectors, BUT

In a recent thread nobody could actually say anything nice about the 189.
What I disliked most (apart from the weight) was the tanto edge. So I decided to change that.

Here is the result

Why wood as a backdrop? Shouldn't that be shot with a background of big out bags and AR-15 magazines?

Seriously, I understand the need for theses knives but that's a market I wish Buck would conede to SOG and such like that. Would rather see mor diversity in their outdoor knives. Or at least make the tacticool stuff more outdoor oriented.

Put it another way, if Buck is going to mimic other designs for that market, I would rather see them mimic Becker or ESEE than SOG.
