I saw in the news last night about a girl who has been lost in the jungle of Cambodia(?) when she was 8, and now nineteen years later she is founded alive. They said that she move and act like a monkey. Now that is survival..., well not only survival, I bet now she is more feel at home in the jungle than in the civilization.

But...she didn't have a hollow handled survival knife or a magnesium fire starter. How ever did she survive?

Dang it, I've got to keep my girls on a shorter leash, guess you can understand why I dumped her. That barking was worse than an an alarm clock at three in the morning.:D

Hey Guys...

If she did indeed for 19 years in the jungle on her own..

That's just bloody incredible!!

Somewhere around 1972 the last Japanese soldier left over from WWII was coaxed out of the jungle by his commanding officer on a bull horn...

It's incredible that someone can live on their own in a jungle for decades without being detected by anyone...

Makes you wonder though... alot of people are not believing the story. Could it be possible that she has crazy parents who have kept her locked in solitude for 19 years? Its happened before.

What's incredible(if true..) is that she survived at all and avoided being devoured by creatures, bitten by venomous snakes, dying of filthy disease or loneliness. One good thing is that there ARE wildnernesses left where you can avoid people,as the French philospher Sartre said "Hell is other people"

actually as late as the last couple of years, reports till surface about possibly survivors living in the mountainous areas of the phillipines and indonesia. These men are all now very elderly yet report still linger, some see this as similar to reports of US MIA's in the hills of Viet nam and Laos, either hopes against hopes that "dad" or someone will come home from the war, but others have done so, and the faint hope that lingers will keep this alive for a long time...http://findarticles.com/p/articles/mi_m0WDQ/is_2005_May_31/ai_n13830840

I believe the term is "feral children", isn't it?

I watched a program about am onth ago about abandoned children. Or children who were chained to a wall there whole lives. One girl was abandoned and lived most of her life with dogs. She barked and ran like a dog, she slobbered and bit people...it was very odd.

One other poor kid was chained to a toilet for several years in a rooom all by himself. :(
