I traded off my 1911 and have my Busse 1911 grips in snakeskin.I am thinking about trading them as I am not sure I will ever get another 1911.What do you think they would bring in cash or a trade?

I remember seeing some on Ebay a few months ago but I can't find a link. I think they went for somewhere around $60-$80 but am not sure. They were modified if I remember correctly to make a groove by the mag release so maybe minty ones would be worth more.

They originally sold for $70 during the Microscopic Ganzaa, I would start there depending on conditon.

:D I wonder how fast you Inbox filled with PMs (if you use them that is). :D If you want to try and draw top dollar, ebay is invariably your best choice, as much as I dislike it. You could always put them on the exchange for what you want out of them and go from there. I doubt there will be many more, if any, of these made. Jerry is busy making knives, resources for making gun grips might be a little thin.

Yeah,I have gotten a few emails and PMs.
I will not trade or sell them until I put them up on the exchange, might even keep them in case I end up with another 1911.
Was just about to type what I was thinking about asking in trade but I do not want this to turn into an ad.
If I do trade them I will be asking top dollar as I too don't believe there will be any more of them.

Yes, it is wise to avoid naming a price here. I'll have to move it to the exchange then. :D

I like mine, but the grippiness of them detracts from the Snakeskin look. I almost wish I could convince Jerry to either sell me some Snake or redo another pair in a smoother finish to bring out the colors more.

I picked up a set of Black G-10 grips at Blade a few years back for $80 - $90 but they aren't going anywhere!

I paid $125 for a snakeskin set several months ago. Maybe a little steep, but I was in the mood and wanted them for my SIG GSR.

Put them on the exchange at your desired price. All you need is one willing buyer. And if they don't move, you can always start reducing the price every few days, until you reach the "at this price I'll just keep'em" point.
