so the Cupidganzaaaa is announced the same day that a
new stainless Ed Brown Kobra Carry Bobtail hits the shelf at the local gun shop at a great price (2k even:eek:).

Decisions, decisions!

Hell may freeze over and I may have to offer a few knives for sale.

I'd pass on the Kobra Carry, and get a Special Forces Commander Bobtail instead.:thumbup:

It's cheaper than the Kobra Carry, too, so you don't need to sacrifice your participation in the Cupidganzaaa.:thumbup:

The Kobra Carry is SWEET!!! If I didn't have one already I would be leaning that way.

I don't know Mike... Those are VERY hard decisions...

But hey, you could be broke like me, then it's an easy call --- just order a FEW ganza blades :foot:

Darn you guys....I have been looking hard at a Cobra Special Forces. I can wait but its such as sweet gun.

Unreal. I didn't even see this thread and was just looking at Ed's site not 5 minutes ago thinking, "hmmm, some of those look really nice". Should I take the timing of this thread with my looking at those 1911s as a sign or is it mere coincidence?

If I didn't already have an Ed Brown Special Forces, since there aren't any SFNOs or Straight Handled Steel Hearts in this ganza, it would be an easy decision -- get the Ed Brown.

Zoinks! Those Ed Brown 1911s are tasty. I'm with Lunde, though. I'm not one for the "wild animal" themed guns. I'd rather have the special forces. Or a Les Baer.
Here's a thought- sell me some of your older knives (on the cheap) and do both!

1911 wins the toss for me. One Ed Brown may be the last 1911 you ever buy. Besides, you walk right in lay down your money and buy the Ed Brown. No games, staying up late, preparing emails, no hype, no waiting for go, no if's about what your gonna snag, just plain old cash for product exchange business.
Get the gun and sleep thru the go time.
