New addition to the 1911 family...sort of.
Just got this in the mail today. Very impressed with the workmanship. Chopped for awhile in a willow stump after the pictures and pruned up some crab apple trees and it feels good in hand. No rattle in the survival kit.
Found that if I repacked the survival kit, I could get a couple of quick tinders in it along with a small brass button compass. I've never been a huge fan of the spec-op sheaths so it is riding in some Savage Sheaths leather. I had this sheath made for a Cold Steel Survivalist and it fits very nicely.
Hopefully can get out soon for some more thorough testing.
