  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

Hi,
Just got another MKII kukhri from the UK;

Co I /|\ G
T [or I] II

Grips seem fancier in pics, with possibly 2 metal trim rings around the ridge in the middle of the grip.
Any ID help? Maker, Gurkha Reg?
Thankyou, Andy Gordon

Without a picture I cannot give you a definite answer, but if there are the two metal or brass bands around the grip you are describing a copy using WW I marks. Those are the exact ID marks used for this replica.

An authentic model would have no chakma or karda, the scabbard would be easily identifiable and the grip would be wood scales with no embellishment.
