Oops.
There isn't one.

I don't want some rubber handle, coated blade. Or a billboard engraved on the side of the blade

I'm sure I'm not the only one waiting............... patiently.

I can't think of there having ever been a Vanguard with a Micarta handle. I collect Vanguards so yeah, I'd buy one.
I don't think the four of us is enough for a production run.... ;o)
 
Of course, I'm in for a couple...

There was this one, I didn't buy cause it was so near the same as the Alaskan Guide at the time.

I hesitated on the botm with the s30v nickel/ rubber handle.
I wish now I had grabbed one, but I just wasn't thrilled with the rubber handle.

I'm hoping with the Pro Series knives out, a Vanguard version is in the works.

A D2 Heritage Vanguard would be interesting......

But I really want the S35vn one.
Meanwhile I'm eyeballing some Benchmade hunting fixed blade knives....
I guess sometimes you gotta go a different direction.

My thoughts exactly! I regretted not purchasing BOTM Vanguard as well. Had one in my cart but wavered due to the rubber handle.

Hopefully we'll see something like what you've suggested. 👍
