One of my favorites is the 192 Vanguard. I just got a Cabelas S30V Alaskan Guide series. Hoverever, I am not a fan of the standard sheath. Also as a lefty, I want to get a replacement. Something more rugged, and a pouch stye, without snaps, or maybe kydex or maybe ......??
Anyone have any suggestions? Know of a company or even a sheath maker?
The old Jimmy Lile pouch sheaths were sweet, with belt slots on both sides.
Any help would be appreciated.
Dave. :) :)

Took them quickly in not-so-good light, but they should give some idea of what a kydex will look like for this knife.

He does a nice kydex belt loop if you prefer (think he charges a little more for the belt loop now), but I went with Tek-Lok on this one.

Guyon - That is sweet. Looks like it is just what I was looking for. The tek-lock is great. Did you have to send him your knife, or does he have a pattern?
Thanks,
Dave.

He has a number of pattern knives, but the Buck Vanguard wasn't one of them. I had to send it in.

That is very cool.
Now convinced that I'm gonna defer some of my lunch money and get a concealex or kydex for my 692 Vanguard.
Goose.
