1937 Commemorative Carving Set

Here's another carving set that belonged to my grandparents. It's a commemorative set for the coronation of King George and Queen Elizabeth in 1937. Still in its satin display case. Unfortunately it has been used and sharpened as you can see in the pics but I am grateful to have it amongst my family heirlooms. I hope you enjoy viewing it.

I didn't know the Sheffield Brits were into making stainless sets already in 1937. The bone-handled Sheffield set I inherited (from a 1957 wedding) were plated carbon steel.
