1944 M-4 bayonet? Anyone identify this blade?

this is a blade heading my way to have some refurbish work done and I was wondering if anyone could identify it? She’s rough but still pretty neat. I’m thinking it’s a M-4 bayonet from 1944 ish!?

Might be marked on the front of the guard, bottom end.

Looks like an M4 , you should Google the M4 as there are many sites out there that have lots of information about knives of the second world war.
