Hey guys, take a look at ebay item nr. 6610200063. It surely does resemble one of the Camillus license knives....No? The seller is either really dumb or really crooked in my opinion.

I'd say he's ignorant, Paul. I couldn't get a good enlargement of that knife you show us, but I found another yellow 'Schrade' he is offering and clear as hell is the 'licensed by Taylor Cutlery' statement on the box. 31 years old? Naw... A wanna be knife dealer? Oh yeah!

This knife even has Schrade Walden, N.Y. U.S.A. stamped on it. That's pretty misleading for something made in China.

They've updated the listings, an outstanding thing to do. Big thumbs-up!

Thanks for that information update on the Camillus made Schrades. I was in error about China.

Camillus has not answered my inquiry. Perhaps a question posted in the Camillus forum? I didn't find an email address for Utica. Bear never answered an earlier inquiry either. Perhaps that is SOP for orders of this type.

Camillus, a huge contract maker, has policy and reputation for NOT revealing who they make knives for. Remington knives are the exceptions, both companies proud of the relationship they have.

Interesting detective project for us, though.
