Just curious about Leatherman prices in the early days but no luck finding them on the web. I paid $30 at a clearance sale for my PST in 1996, but that's as far back as I got. Can anybody point me in the right direction?

Addition: I just found a site that had those prices. It's a copy of a legal document that if you scroll to the bottom, you will find replicas of Leatherman ads from several sources that prints the prices from the mid 1980s. In case you are interested, the Leatherman Survival Tool varied from $35-40, with the mini-tool at $27. That would be @ $50/75-ish in today's money. Glad they sold like hotcakes at those prices or we wouldn't have had their descendants today.

I bought one of the first Gerbers at Target for about $35 in late 80s - early 90s.

So, adjusted for inflation, a PST in 1985 sold for ~$15 more than a Rebar does today. Or the Mini-tool sold for exactly what a Rebar does today. Dang, we have it good nowadays.
