Today I picked up a 1984 Gold Dog's Head Stockman. It's a limited edition, #129 of 350 serialized. Tang stamp says KA-bar Olean, NY. It has jigged bone handles and a 14k gold dog's head shield. My question is this, were these actually produced by Ka-bar? If not, who manufactued these for them? Any information regarding this, or any other info regarding these knives, would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

All the club knives from Ka-Bar 1975-2005 done by others with exception of a Few, Ka-Bar had say on design quality, and # produced most knives done by Queen and Case no record of which manufacturer did what knife as not to be important at time. Ka-Bar did supply most of the stag as was left over in warehouse from the 1950's Great Knife so lets see it

Great Knife so lets see it.......... I haven't for the life of me been able to post pics on here. I have limited knowledge of that type of things, and only post from my phone. I don't even own a computer, tablet, or digital camera. Sorry, but thanks for the info nutoknives! If you wanted to email me at lancebragg1@gmail.com, I would be happy to send you a couple of cell phone pics.
