Here's something you don't see every day.
1989 105 with serrations.
It's the first one I've seen in the flesh, and the price was right.
Anyone have any insight about how many of these were made?

I'll get some more photos when I get a chance, but for now just the console shot...lol

Joe Houser mentions them in the December 2014 Newsletter, but doesn't give production numbers. i would guess there weren't too many made.

Pokt, I'm glad you found one of those and were able to procure it. I've not seen one. Haha. I would certainly buy one if I ran across it.
Those are rare for sure, thus, I wouldn't use it but I find serrations useful. Great find! Thanks for posting a photo of it. DM

This knife was in the catalog in 1990 and price guides in 1990 and 91.
Mine has a 1988 date code. I had a picture posted from pukebkt in the past.... :(
Good find, you don't see to often

I learned something I didn't realize from this. In looking for the old picture I found that PB changes part of the image name when you uploaded. Gonna make finding stuff harder.

Good stuff guys. I was going to go rummaging through the BCCI stuff when I got a chance but figured you folks would like to see it and have the info at your fingertips.

I did read the newsletter you pointed out Bert. Thanks for pointing me to it!

I'll clean 'er up and get some decent photos soon as I can. It's really in remarkable condition. The sheath is in great shape too!

I picked up (rescued) the 110 with it. I'm pretty sure it's a 4/1. Brass pivot, two small handle pins, and through pins one at blade and two at the rear.

The 110 is in pretty good shape itself save for the gunk. Looks like it's spent 40 years in a tool box. I'll probably send it off to Buck for some love.

I'll see what a little warm soapy water will do for them.

Cool knife, Pokt. I was just admiring one in The Story of Buck Knives book the other day. It's on page 112.

I searched the Internet and only came up with one. Nice knife you have.
