Found this set and know nothing about it, can't find another to compare it too, has a 102 and 501 in it. would like to know the production number and approx. value
Added pictures , see what you think, Thanks, DonnieThis is the closest I could find in an old BCCI newsletter, a set of 3. The 1993 Special Projects list indicates an embossed sheath for the 102/501. Appears you are missing the 703. HTH

OK.... so you purchased BUCK Ducks Unlimited knife set Rare Vintage Double sheath Kit 102 501 off eBay a couple days ago and now you want to know if you got a deal, right? Well, you know how old they are, 1992/1993, you also know from my post above how many were made, 3,700. And lastly you want to know what it's worth but you're not not allowed to ask that question here. See post #2 above by moderator RevDevil.
Let me answer the value question in a round about way, You purchased 2 used knives that originally came in a collectors set of 3. These kinds of sets only retain their value unused. You can now value your set on whatever a used 102 and 501 sell for adding something for a really neat sheath. Rare? hardly... all Ducks Unlimited knife sets are made in great numbers, they are the Girl Scout Cookies of the knife world, used for fund raising at DU banquets all across the country. My personal cutoff for defining RARE in modern Buck knives is a production of 250 or less. Now, having said all that, if you bought the set because it's really neat, which it is, and want to use it, you did...OK. Should you have been wearing a mask when you bought it...NO. Hope this helps. /Roger
