I own a 1993 buck 110 / I have just noticed that both scales are loose (not real noticable) but if you hold the brass ends you can feel them move. was that year epoxied or is that normal for that year.

Thank you.

Riveted scales are not also glued. Sounds like the rivets are loosening. I am sure Buck would be happy to fix that for you.

thanks for the information, I'll wait till it's really loose to send it in.

It is difficult to give up one's 110 even if it is only for a few weeks. You have to be strong and let it go in for a spa treatment. You will not be sorry.

Big John thank you for the support. I will have to wait till after christmas, to ship it in.

takao, I've not seen that on a Buck 110 before. Also, that 110 you have is the last year that Buck used 425 steel which makes it a real keeper. Hope the economy picks up soon there. Good luck, DM

Thanks David

I really like the 425 M, it's easier to sharpen than my two and three dots.

I just left a two dot at the factory for a spa treatment. I love those older knives with the sharp radius on the bolsters.

Bigjohn, I hear that from several of the Buck members. The 2dot is also a wider frame.DM

my two dot is tight in sheaths made for the newer rounded models. it also seems that the blade angle is different.
