Does anyone know what the original 1994 spyderco civilian is worth? Has pouch and original 2 page letter. I've tried to find any info available but this knife seems rare. Thank you

Edge type plays a large part in value plain edge being worth more.A good way to check value in to search Ebay under completed auctions.

If it's the uncoated aluminum version with the Kraton inlays and is in mint condition, it is definitely rare and would certainly be valuable to the right collector. Putting an exact figure on it is hard, between the economy right now and the fact they don't show up very often, but I'd put it somewhere "north of $300". If it's the dark grey Almiite coated aluminum version with the Kraton inlays and is in mint condition, it is considerably more common, but would still be valuable to the right collector, though less so than the uncoated. Edge type also comes into play on the Almite ones, since they came in both serrated and plain, and the plain edge is less common and more valuable.
