I went to a small gun show at a local gun and rod club this afternoon with my father. Barely anything there, but a local knife dealer was set up. This guy always has some good stuff, from some well known makers.

No, I did not buy this one, and he was not selling it, but he did let me take pics. My cell phone pics do not do it justice, and I did not want to sweat all over it. The silver inlaid handle scales were neat. I had just eaten a pit beef sandwich, and didn't want to get grease all over the knife either. Yep, that's my fat butt reflected in the blade. The makers are listed on the blade as follows: William F Moran Jr, E Jay Hendrickson, Joseph F Keeslar, Joshua G Cordova, Jerry Fisk, Hanford Miller, James L Batson. Always nice to see a little piece of history.

I love it! What a great piece!

I have had the pleasure to meet Mr. Moran, Mr. Hendrickson, Mr. Cordova and Dr. Batson, and with luck next year Mr. Keesler!

Steve, it might be on display, not for sale, at the next Chesapeake Knife Club meeting, as told to me by the owner. Will you be at the Frederick Hammerin? I'd like to get some information on the Moran Foundation. Not that fun to drive past his old shop and see the front yard covered in weeds,.

It is a nice knife.

I thought about bidding on it but didn't, when it was sold on eBay 11 days ago.

that is a gorgeous and lethal looking knife.

Very nice and one of the more desirable ABS Board Knives IMO.
Would be a great addition to any ABS Bowie collection.
Would also be right at home at the ABS Museum in Little Rock.
I wonder what it brought on eBay?
