1996 Schrade Time Machine

Like many of you probably are, I'm kind of a pack rat. Today we had our house re-carpeted which meant a lot of moving stuff around. In the process of doing that I found a SMKW catalog from fall of 1996. I never ordered anything from them but for some reason I saved this catalog. As I thumbed through it I noticed so many Schrade models I'm lusting after at ultra reasonable 1996 prices. I thought maybe some of you would enjoy seeing it so I scanned it and here it is...

Interesting that today one can buy 143OT Blade Runners all day long NIB for less than what they were selling for new in 1996 but Golden Spikes or Prospectors are selling for twice or three times what they sold for then. Supply/demand, I guess.

96OT Bearhead trappers are what I notice as expensive these days. $23.99 in this catalog and asking $145 for it on eBay right now.

Check country of origin on those NIB's..
Wow I just looked at E-Bay and the USA 143OT's are selling about 10.00

I have the hat...it actually has the word "FREE" printed on it, just like the picture.;)
