1998 Commander prices?

I have seen them go for as much as $250 if NIB.
I lucked up and found one at the last gun show I went to. I asked a dealer if he had any trade-in Emersons and he said someone had just traded in a Commander. He took it out and showed it to me. I saw 98 and a serial number and asked the price. The guy said "how bout $100?". I almost fell out. I got my money out so fast I almost dropped the knife. I was walking off and he said "don't you want the box?". Talk about luck. It is a plainedge black coated blade. It is used but it is one sweet carry knife
