Here's something different. The bag is made with smoked braintanned buckskin, lined with a 19th century style bed ticking linen cloth. The front flap has rawhide deer leg hocks with dew claws attached, and the one side is lined with rawhide and serves as an integral sheath.A few spots and fringe round out the bag.The bag, with the exception of the strap, was sewn together with one countinuos piece of lace, including the flap, so it was a PITA!!The knife is 1095 with rawhide wraps, copper band, and a deer jaw handle.Different, but still pretty neat;)and sorry for the crappy pics!

Good and authentic looking work my friend.

John,

Though traditional, you've developed a style all you own. I can't help but think of you whenever I see anything similiar which is one of the best compliments that I can think of. Cuddo's!

BTW: I thoroughly enjoyed your addition to the CKCA calendar this year.
