Any gun blue paste to recommend? I got this old tube from G96 that a customer of my found for me .. the packaging is old but i should still be usable.

That's the normal look of a stripped Becker...but that isn't a BK24.

Lol oh ya, it's a BK14 instead, but now it's in between bk14 and bk24. Mix up the 2 as we were talking about the BK24 my friend got all day long.

I kinda like the blue tone on it right now. But would it be safer if I use mustard sauce instead of blue cream??

I would think that if you're going to use it to cut food ever, mustard or one of the other commonly used things would be better.

Chalet and hhmoore are correct. You can get a pretty good patina on it by soaking it in hot apple cider vinegar for 15 to 20 minutes and then letting it air dry. If you want a really dark patina you can just repeat the process until it gets dark enough for your liking.

Stick that badboy thry a couple grapefruit for 30 min...that s if you like paterns on your blade.hot vinegar if you want a more uniform patina.

The 14 in the middle is the result of grapefruit patina

nice pattern you have there .. will try something soon .. this BK14 will serve as a back up to my BK9 for the time being till a BK16 to come by later .. I do have intend to use it in preparation of food and stuffs so a treatment using more natural material would be a better choice.

Actually this is also for me to test out a paint stripper i got at a local DIY shop before i use it on the BK9 or other stuffs i got.
