1st Becker!

so i've lurked on this forum for quite a while (you guys always have something interesting going on), but not having a becker i'd not said anything.

well, now i am the very happy owner of a BK14 (purchased on 4-14, oddly enough.). it rode in my pocket from the store and then all day during work. opened boxes and packages like a champ, of course.

in all his workhouse glory.

and posing with the laredo i also picked up today.

i love this thing. i'll definitely be getting more.

thanks. it'll take more than blankets and dresses to put me off. the eskabar kept me company again today; i like it so much i might end up going back this weekend and finding more beckers.

that said, more photos! the two i bought yesterday.

i think they make a good pair. and no, those aren't custom wood handles on the laredo. it's pretty much dyed plywood and was pretty slick out of the box, so i hit it really lightly with some 100-grit sandpaper. now it's smooth but not slippery.
