The first and maybe the last for awhile. That is so much steel to polish and the worst part was while it was taped up,water somehow got underneath the tape and when I pulled it off it was rusted. back to re-polishing again. Anyhow the blade is 9 7/8 long and the handle is 5 1/4. The steel is O1 and selectively hardened. There is a scrolling filework on the spine and more filework on the hilt. They don't have much use do they? It could cut down a small tree real nice. Any comments, good and bad. www.homestead.com/hvknives/Latest.html

Looks good for the first one, you really like doing file work which I hate but what you did looks great. I think you have to many pictures of the knife, takes to long to down load. Sure some don't wait for it to come totally up. Your not the first to get a rusty blade and don't take to long of a break till you do another or you'll forget what you learned from this one.....Ray

Looks great, I like the handle, only 5 1/2"? it seems to go on forever:)

Very, very nice. The handle is particularly cool looking. Must be pretty big in the hand.
