Hey Hogs, I have been collecting knives for many years and have many different styles, but I have only recently become interested in Busse knives.
I have been doing alot of reading of these forums and I am amazed at the following that these knives have, until today I did not understand but I got my first Busse today. It is a Bony Active Duty with a satin finish and red and black scales and I love it feels great in the hand and is the perfect weight for edc. Now I know what the fuss is all about, I also scored in the recent Ganza a ASH 1 and another AD and caint wait to get them. One more thing about Busse I really like is how you guys are so good to one another and I hope to be a part of this madness for a long time. Sorry for such a long post and Thanks for reading,

I have a satin BAD with red / black scales on my belt right now - it's a great working knife.

Congrats on your new INFI in hand, and the one's on the way!

I love the BAD's also, an AD is hard to beat:thumbup:
 
I also switch between a BAD and GW for EDC carry in the pocket.

I knew I would be welcomed with open arms,Thanks guys for the replies.
Now, can anyone give some advice on sheaths and which kind you guys prefere, kydex or leather and who makes the best.

The Busse Company Store has a couple of BAD sheaths, one leather by Armoralleather and one Kydex by MashedCat (link). For open belt carry, I prefer leather but YMMV.

Hey Lee, soon you'll be trading Bali's for Busses. ; )

As for a sheath, for carry (depending on whether or not you carry a heather as well) I'd probably go with a kydex iwb. The one I got from Gravelface works pretty decently, and he's a member here.

There are also others on the forums who can make you something like that.

For leather, you can try Dwayne (Leatherhog) at Armorall Leather, Chuddy Bear, and MikeyMoto here on the forums. MikeyMoto might have the shortest lead time, but you're probably gonna wait regardless...unless you grab something from www.bussecompanystore.com.

And the proprietor of that site is IdahoSkunk on here. All good people.

Welcome to the addiction. It sounds like you got some nice blades.
One of the reasons why I am addicted to Busse knives is the quality of the knives and the quality of the people on the Busse family forums.

Thats what I'm talkin about all you guys are class acts thanks for all the great replies guys. I am really excited about the ASH1 coming I got 2B1 in the line up if you dont remember which one it is the line up is still on the Busse forum, I also got a AD in the same color combo.
And Jason as far as trading balis for Busse's I dont think I'll be doin that, I love my balis.
