1st Cable Damascus piece

This is my first (sucessful) cable damascus piece. (and my first pic posted here). The handle is amboyna with moasic pins and nickle silver gaurd. J Neilson (who is posting the pic for me) helped me to make the billet. Tess will be making the sheath. My thanks to both of them and to Terry Primos and Jerry Fisk for design inspiration.
My thanks also to all of you on the fourm who have been the main source of my education in bladesmithing.
