OMG! Now that I actually have one in hand I can truly see/feel what all the ESEE fever is all about. This thing is way too AWESOME. Fit, finish, feel of the handle, blade and sheath is UNREAL. LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE! Hopefully this weekend I can get out and hack some downed trees and put some beauty marks on her. Still waiting for my Sawvivor to show, should be here today to add to my growing survival kit. Now I just have to figure out which one more to add. As I've asked about before, I'm really having a hard time deciding which one that is going to be. I'm not a big "have tons of knives" guy, just have a few that work great together and do all I need. So, 4, 5, or 6, to finish it all off :jerkit:. I have other smaller blades so I really don't need/want to go any smaller than the 4. Dilemmas, dilemmas. I for sure am going to add a molle back and pouch to it. I like big knives so I lean toward the 6 but the 4 probably is the better companion to the Junglas which is really what it's all about for me. Then on the other hand I could just get the five and split the difference, hehe, see what I mean?. I know lots of guys respond with "just get them all" but I don't have the budget or the need for that many. We'll see what happens and let you know.

Whoa you really went for it with your first ESEE, the Junglas is cool. I've got some downed limbs after this last snowstorm and the Junglas is going to break them down for firewood once I can get to them.

Wow! I've handled a Junglas before, truly an amazing blade. Great start!
I would recommend the 4, it's a fantastic knife and would be a perfect complement to the Junglas.

Thats great you got the junglas first. Head first man!! I use my 4 ALL the time. I think the 4 would be a great match for the junglas.

I don't own the Junglas but own everything else.

Why don't you post some pics of you holding it to try to persuade me to buy it?

If you want to get away with as few blades as possible, go for the 4. The 5 is a thick, heavy, prybar, it's a great knife, but maybe overkill. With the Junglas and a 4 you can get by quite well in many environments.
Check out Dale's G-10 handle scales at The Knife Connection. If you have a large hand, they really fatten up the 4, he has them for the 3 as well.
congrats on the Junglas!

congratz on the Junglas, it'll serve ya well. there's no way i'd part with mine, truly useful piece of steel :)

Hell of a way to start off with ESEE, most people get the Izula first.

Congrats. I haven't used mine a ton, but I really really like it. It's top notch just like anything you get from ESEE.

Get the rest of them now...lol!!
