Well , not EXACTLY my 1st spyderco as I own ALL their balisongs , my favorite being the Szabofly { I own 3 } but this is my first "thumb-hole" Spyderco.

First off --- the quality is just AWESOME !!! And it came sharp enough to shave hair with.

It is very slim and fits my smaller hands like it was custom made for me. And it is comfortable both in the "saber grip" as well as the "ice pick and Pikal " grip.

It was a bit stiff as it was NIB , but a shot of RemOil and the blade flicks out like it was glideing on ball bearings !!

Im going to have the top 3/4 of the blade sharpened and it will be a GREAT EDC/SD knife.

I am VERY HAPPY with it and am glad I finally broke down and got a "regular" Spyderco ----- I'll write a better review with photos in a few days.

Brilliant minds and Bali-ho's must think alike, I just bought my first "regular" Spyderco too. I picked up a Paramilitary the other day and it's probably my favorite EDC of all time. Wait till you get a Para2, if you aren't hooked all ready you will be!

i "think" so --- it is a numbered Collectors Club and was NIB for about $160 shipped.

Total congratulations on the score!

Last I saw on eBay, not a numbered CC, went for some $300 (I know, things can get a bit crazy on eBay, but still...)...

I have been looking to get a Kris for quite a while now, but I am always deterred by the price (so far I have NOT seen one go for less than $210/220...).
If I had seen a NIB Kris at $160, you wouldn't have seen it for sale for more than a few seconds. :)

PS: I wouldn't have the top of the blade sharpened if I was you. It would bring the value of a very hard to find knife down to basically zero, I think. You know in case you'd like to sell it one day...
