I've got to admit, when I first saw the description before the pictures had loaded, it sounded a little funny to me, but it looks GREAT together!

What a feeling of that first folder. I haven't tried a liner lock yet....yet.

Keep up the good work

Good job, Otha. At least we know you listen, and can probably sweep a floor pretty good too

Outstanding, Otha!!!! The grind looks identical on both sides!! Did you grind the blade after or before heat treat? How did you cut those thumb grooves so evenly spaced?? I hope my folder comes out that nice, got the parts back from Rob today. Can't wait to see your next one!

Take care!! Michael

Always think of your fellow knife makers as partners in the search for the perfect blade, not as people trying to compete with you and your work!

Thanx all!...Tom What! NO more advice...Im hurt. Thanx to all the advice I got and Alans Patients...Yeap I can sweep a floor too.

Otha, nice looking knife. It doesn't look like you were too worried if you could carry it off or not seeing you decided to use Damascus for your first attempt. It won't be too long before you have someone sweeping the floors for you

Nice job Otha and congratulations.
I would be a happy camper ready to try more, if my first one looked one half that good.

Phil...Its UAI ThunderForge Damascus. I was impressed with the blade material. I realyliked the way it grinds.

Gus..Im satisfided with the way this one turned out..Now to improve on it is the goal. More percision and less misstakes would be nice. Kit and Alan had to bail me out a few times on it....Thanx guys.

Wow. Absolutely Incredible!!!!!Lucky Bastid!! Now go get a grizz and start real grinding!!
