That looks really Great.I like the old world styling you gave itand the copper sets it off nicely.

Take care!! Michael

Always think of your fellow knife makers as partners in the search for the perfect blade, not as people trying to compete with you and your work!

Very beautiful!!!
There is nothing that sets off a knife like dark wood and copper!!!
How did you get the dark color on the blade or is that just the pic?

Excellent first forging! So what are Harley transmission shafts made of? Beautiful knife!

Indian George what is "tool black" and how durable is it?
Is it better than cold blue or much the same?
Where can one purchase tool black?
What was the final grit you used on the blade?

I really like that finish on your knife!!
The finish looks sort of spotted and old and that's what's appealling to me.

Nice looking knife George.I really like the idea of taking something and transforming it into something else.I wonder how a timing chain would do as a blade??

Did you protect the bolster?
It may look cool to let it Patina or you could runn it by the buffer and maybe use some Rennasance wax to protect the Copper.
Just a thought. Nice Blade.
