I would like to thank all of those who pointed me in the right direction on this project!! It will be going to my father soon..Coco bolo handle and 100 year old sawmill blade steel..:thumbup:
 
That turned out awesome. Let me know if your making any more and what the size of handle and blade are? And what the price is please.

Looks good man. I have not tried making a friction folder, maybe that will be my weekend project. thanks for the idea!
 
Thanks for the replies.. The cutting edge is 3", the handle is 4 3/4", overall is 7 7/8".
 
I normal buy bigger blade sizes than that Louis, mine start at 3 3/4" to 4" blade and get bigger.

My favorite folder right now is the Blackwood designed BM 630 Skirmish with 4 1/4" blade with 5 3/8" handle.
