Found a new CRK Pacific today and it is marked with the SF logo(1 over crossed arrows) and numbered. The box is marked 1st Group and the number. Now the question is how rare are they? I bought it as a user but if it carries a super high value, I'd rather find another. Any info would be appreciated.

Thanks for the link! There is another link in there that tells the story. Apparantly the knives commemorate the 50th anniversary of the 1st Group and can only be purchased after verification of service in the group! I was pretty sure the knife was real but I had it in the back of my mind that it could have been a fake. Stoked to see some verification it is real :) Now I guess the question to answer is it too valuable to use?

Here is the one I picked up. It came with the ACU sheath and box but no paperwork. Just an awesome knife!!!!

Congratulations....!!! This is the 1st one of these I have ever seen.........The Pacific is my Favorite of the CRK Military Style Knives. Still hoping CRK will do a special run "without" serrations.

Sweet knife and a great find! Truly high praise to Mr. Reeve and Mr. Harsey if you say "awesome knife!". It must be strange for you to buy a knife with those three side grooves you often place on your own work.

Not strange at all :) its a common enough technique for adding a bit of traction to the grip.
