Check it out! Just made my first hawk! Solid 6/4 Titanium! Very little work involved! I'm not sure what all the pounding, finishing, handle work, etc is all about, to be honest! :barf:
Actually, this is half of a 6/4 "horseshoe" from Halpern Titanium. I ordered two horseshoes of 0.09" thick and was thinking I'd have enough to mess up a couple of small folders before I decide I don't want to make folders for another 6 months or so. When I opened the box and found 4 of these suckers in there (I think they were $6 or $9 a piece!) I couldn't believe it! I can ruin tons of projects with this much material! Anyway, this hawk is so comfy it doesn't even need to have a handle or anything. Sweet!
