Been kinda busy or I would have put this up sooner. About a month ago I was lucky enough to get my hands on one of John's knives. It is a Bloodwood Kephart style knife. The knife is more substantial than I thought it would be. The handle really fills up the hand. Good clean lines and very sharp. John was kind enough to make me a lefty sheath with a (boot?) clip.

Have not got a chance to get out and use it yet but I'm sure it will take on any task with ease. Thanks again John for making a beautiful knife. Look forward to putting it to work.

A few pics..... (I'm no photographer) :)

Feel free to use any that you would like. I will probably break out the light box and try to take some better ones this morning and post up. Those didn't turn out as well as I had hoped.

Nice score! John's knives are functional and tough. My first JK was a kephart, it has led me to many more. Its not a bad addiction to have! Enjoy.

I realize that user pics in the field would be better but I just don't have any at this point so I broke out the light box to try to fix my crappy photography. Got a little carried away but here are some other shots of the Bloodwood Kephart. It really is a good looking knife!

If you see a line on the blade, that is not damage it's just where I had put on some mineral oil and it left that mark.

Yes it really is a nice knife. It definitely is a tough looking knife. I would feel pretty comfortable working it hard. It's not a bad addiction at all except for on the wallet. :)
