boy its amazing what you can figure out if you take the time to read old posts. thanks d.ralph(i think) for the tip on inserting a pic. anyway, my first knife, 9"oal 4 3/4 d2 blade ss guard w/copper & brass pins dymondwood coco bolo handle w/loveless rivets and copper & brass liners

cdark, you have broken one of the first rules of knifemaking. You simply can not get a mirror polish on your first knife. You did; it took me about 7 years. Great effort there. You should be proud of that knife.
