this is my 1st knife not perfect by a long shot but a good start I think. Blade is from a leaf spring, handel is homemade micarta (cotton cloth and fiberglass resin from wal mart), pins are 1/8in brazing rod and the initals wre made with a homemade etcher..I got all of my info from this site, so thanks for the help:D

looks good:thumbup: ive noticed that this is a bad addiction, you get to play with metal, wood, plastics or whatever else floats your boat. keep it up!

My 3yr old was looking just looking over my shoulder at your blade. She said "Whoa, that's a beautiful knife?" Good job.

thanks for the comments, the knife looks a lot better in person:grumpy: (I need to build a light box).I'll post some pics of the tomahawks that I made a few weeks ago.:)

 Very nice work; I like the the look of it very much. Congrats on the good start.
That homemade micarta came out very nice also. Hope you don't mind that I attached a lightened up photo that shows the micarta a little better.:)

Good work, and congratulations! I'm currently working on my first, but it won't be as nice as yours (but I'll be proud of it anyway!).

I agree you did a fine job on your first knife. Keep at it your homemade micarta looks good to.
