1st new Spydie in years

Okay, so I picked up a Spyderco Manix 2 at a local knife shop. It's my 1st new Spyderco since 2005, but I've got some questions and concerns. First, mine has a polished 154Cm blade, but some of the specs I've come across online say it's supposed to have a stonewashed blade, and some mention a satin blade. Just how many variations are there?

Also, on my Manix 2 there appear to be some small humps on the corners of the blade's spine. Kinda hard to describe, but I'll try to post some clear pics to show what I mean. It doesn't affect the function of the knife, but it's not something I would have expected on a USA made Spyderco.

Ok here are a few pics to show the small bumps on the corners of the spine. Not sure what that is. Some artifacts left on the blade after stamping? Any thoughts?

Congrats on the new Manix 2. That blade does look like the same stonewashed finish that is on mine. Almost polished.

I don't know about the "bump". In the second pic it looks like there is actually a flat spot above the hole instead of a nice continuous curve to the spine. Almost like it was cut from the edge of the steel plate.
