1st NJKCA loss?

Just got an email from someone that Wayne Poropat, aka Lucky Dog, a fellow original NJKCA member passed away suddenly in April.
Fisher, you know anything about this? True?
 
Dave, I haven't heard from Wayne since he left NJ to go out to CA. I'll check on the KFC MT Forum. Damn - what a shocker :confused:

I didn't get it yet. I just talked to Win, and he is going to forward a copy to me later today. I also sent an e-mail to James aka Hermes on KFC to see if he knew anything about it. I'll post if I hear anything.

This is very sad. I had several conversations with Wayne and I know he looked forward to escaping from New Jersey. I can't believe it took months for us to hear about a very well repected member of our community.

My condolences to his family.

Just received the news my self and forwarded a copy to Esav. My prayers go out to Wayne's family & friends...wish I had known earlier.
 
I just saw this info on another forum and almost fell over...Wayne was a great guy. He was also my first visitor by an ATC customer. We broke bread, threw the big steel, and I felt honored shake his hand and call him friend. All of us at ATC send prayers.
 
Shocked as well, got the email today! Spoke with Wayne several times, good guy for sure and it's always hard to believe when someone is gone suddenly!

this sucks.. I had been trying to contact him for some time... :( :( :( :(
 
I am sorry to hear of the loss of what appears to be another great knife knut. :( :grumpy: I wish the family and close friends my best
