I don't have time to due a full review.

635 Skirmish (Neil Blackwood) #476 of 1000:
Good: S30V, blade more managable than the huge 630 version, attractive, fairly simple, frame lock up is rock solid.
Bad: Not enough handle for the blade, 2 screws in-line used for clip (not sure how strong), blade not centered to frame.

440 Opportunist (Warren Osborne) #567 of 1000:
Good: S30V, slim, extremely light.
Bad: Lock liner, single side thumb stud, no clip.

Overall I am please. I will probably put the 635 in the EDC rotation. Not as comfortable as I expected but it should take some abuse.
The 440 is a "slip it into an Armani black label and use it to trim cigars at the Broadway play" kind of knife. It has a little personality but it won't handle any type of real hard use.

Sorry about the pics but I was to rushed/lazy to pull out the proper light source.

More later.......

nice pair of blades you got there. i wonder if BM realizes they would have sold a million more 630's if the non-rainbow handle graphics were just like the 635.

Thank you for the pic of the back side of the 635. I'm a junky waiting for UPS to bring my fix.

Benchmade is getting alot of my money this year. I definitely want the 635. I really liked the Skirmish but it was just too big for me to feel comfortable carrying. That 440 is a nice looking knife and I really wouldn't mind picking up another smallish S30V bladed knife. BM has done a good job this year.

Thanks BoS, for the cool pics.
I'm waiting for my 635 soon.

I'm also waiting for a plain-edge Gravitator...that knife really impressed the hell out of me when I handled a couple last week. Gorgeous stuff.
