1st Production Run, Discontinued Mint Bark River Knife & Tool Bay de Noc in Original Box. Beautiful camp knife similar to an old-time butcher knife but, on steroids! A2 tool steel. Blade is 9.5" long, 1.5" wide and .187" thick and it is razor sharp. Full convex grind that Bark River knives are known for. There is a 3.5" swedge at the front of the blade for enhanced penetration. Overall length is 14.775". Weight is 10.5 oz.
The handle is made of Forest Green G-10. There is a hollow tube at the end of the handle that forms a lanyard hole.
Excellent quality leather sheath from Sharpshooter Sheath Systems with double row stitching and three grommets which provide various carry/mounting options. The belt loop will easily accommodate belts up to 2.5" wide.
The Bay De Noc is an extremely capable knife. It is rather light for its size however, it is an exceptional performer. This knife will take on trail clearing, wood chopping, shelter building, bushacraft projects, wood notching, firewood splitting or, even, game butchering.
This is a 1st Production Run. Never used or, carried. There are just minor superficial scratches/spots on the blade that are difficult for the lens to capture. I would give it a 95 out of a 100. It comes in its original box.
