First visit to Loiusiana.. Had a blast visting a close friend in Baton Rouge. Spent a couple of hours in New Orleans (we were only there for a couple of days).
Well, the neighbors were super friendly and loved to drink. It was hilarious. every house we drove by there was a neighbor standing in the drive with a beer in their hand (not to mention a bunch of vintage mustangs). They seemed to tool around in golf carts (beer in hand) almost as if they were keeping tabs on the other neighbors, making sure they were ok.
I had a ball it was great. I live in DC and people can be less than friendly.
I only spent 2 hours in New Orleans but was a little disapointed. Not as "romantic" as I expected...
I would love to return however and spend more time.
