1x30 sanding belts for regrinds?

What grit do you guys use for grinding hardened s30v,154cm, and other steels, and what kind (blue zirconia,aluminium oxide,silicon carbide?).I was using aluminum oxide belts before for sharpenings and regrinds of other softer steels, but they cut slowly....All advices are welcome!

Google Norton Blaze, you will want 80 and 120 grit. Best belts for hard steels.

I start with zirconia alumina ZA/Y plus, 120 grit from preferred abrasives.

I tried blue zirconia, cuts well did one regrind today !

Ironically, I just ordered both of those. Actually, I just went down the grits of Blaze belts and order a couple of each. I, like the OP, want to start doing regrinds.
