1x30 to 1x42 conversion

Hello guys!
No need to say that I'm new to this forum and or knife making.
I'm getting my equipment set up and I just got a 1x30 belt grinder as a gift and I was wondering if it is possible to or if anyone has already done a convention to a 1x30 belt grinder to a 1x42.
