Got a lat Christmas gift yesterday. (Actually it was a second hand gift, the person who first got it figured I would have more use for it).
It a combo thumbstud lockback and untilty knife, made by Stanley (the tool company)called "Sport Utility". The blade is of course not the highest quality - 420, but it's a lockback and the handle is super beefy, really fills your hand. Out the other end is a standard 3-position Stanley 99 style utility knife with the angle edge. It accepts all the Stanley razor blade styles, and has a storage magazine inside. It does not come apart, but has a neat pivot that your release and twist the 2-part handle on a pivot to expose the inside and change the utility blade.
Even comes with a nice belt sheath. I will probably not use the sheath. This will be perfect to ride with my "travel tools" in the bucket buddy, so I don't have to take along my old Stanley 99 when I do work for family, etc. After 15+ years of service, it's still goinf strong, but kind of sentimental now and I would hate to lose it. The sheath would be good for a large folder or flashlight.
As a utility knife, the extra long and thick handle will probably be better to hand onto when doing tuff cutting like carpets, etc.
