bk 5 works surprisingly well for wood processing.

IMG_3538.jpg

bk 2 also does a great job on the tough wood.

My cave man batoning club worked very well with all the bk's. Not pretty, butfunctional.

Oh, hell yeah. Now this is a solid, badass batonning thread. Me and mesquite have a history, it claimed on of my Kabar 1217s once. It is not to be underestimated.

Freaking fantastic.

Batoning is fun. That bk5 is underestimated when it comes to wood work but she holds her own. Very cool

I'll be honest, I think thats the first baton I've seen with a lanyard. Way cool.

Also, great thread man. Looked like a nice day out feeding the beckers :).

Thanks guys it was a blast. Mesquite is a formidable wood. I have see it throw sparks when using a chain saw.
Added a lanyard for my club to hang from my keys:D

Nice work Cowboy. Its good to see those BK-11's kickin some ass!!
I just saw Clich's BK-11 destruction test earlier today. Wow...impressive!
I love to see Beckers at work.

Awesome thread!! I was just wondering how Becker's would stand up to mesquite. Where I live there is a lot of mesquite and it's true, it is a very hard wood.

ooh serrated BK11. don't see many of those.

mesquite. club. nice.

I just received my bk 14 this week so I decided to process some more wood enjoy.

I had to cut down some think branches off my peach tree.

BK 9 up first 13-14 cuts not the best technique on my part. I am more familiar with a machete but, the 9 makes that snap cut pretty easy to pick up.

Bk 5 took 16-17 cuts not bad at all.

Bk 2 about 19-20 cuts

All three were great for general chopping duty.

Next more mesquite processing

Bk 9 starts them off

Newest addition bk 14 I am loving this little beast. I am adding the new scales as soon as possible.
Last pristine shots of my escobar.

I had ordered this semi custom from jericoh blades a few months ago,way before I picked up most of my heavy beckers. Weird design I know. If you are not a fan of Tommy Lee Jones The Hunted Look away. :D I had some concerns on performance. But I was very surprised at how well this strange knife went through some tough wood.

Jericoh Blades MKI Justice with G10 scales 1095 carbon rc 58. First impression very heavy almost the same weight as the bk2. The g-10 scales feel very nice comfortable grip.

Allows for different grips and fine work. Overall kinda weird looking but it works what can I say.
