Some of you may have seen my last post about trying to find "that knife" for me. I've narrowed down my search a bit.

I'm looking for:

2-2.5" blade
Pocket Clip
Locking Liner
AS THIN AS POSSIBLE!!!
Nothing fancy, just a good EDC knife.

I like the looks of the Kershaw 9415 a lot, but its a bit wider and bigger blade than I'm looking for. My price range is about $60-70. Any help would be great!

I would say Spyderco, Cricket , Dragonfly, Navigators, Kopa are all good choices.

If you do not mind no clip kind of thing, then Benchmade Benchmite 2, Spyderco Kiwi are also good choices.

One of my favorites user type gents knife is the Spyderco Kopa. It is out of the range, and is lockback not liner lock.

Of what you gave, I'd say the Spyderco Cricket. I think the SS is more classy looking than the FRN, but the SS is a framelock, not a liner lock, very close I know, but trying to be specific here. :)

Calypso Jr. or a Salsa from Spyderco are good ones.

I've been hunting for a similar knife. Right now I shuffle between a Kershaw Chive which is a bit too small and a Spyderco Calypso, Jr. which is a tad too big. I'm thinking of trying out a Kershaw Centofante which has a 2 1/4" blade.

Very sharp, very attractive, and fits all of your criteria perfectly.

Except that the Calypso Jr. has a 2 3/4" blade. That may make all the difference, depending upon the situation.

Good suggestions guys, I'm looking into all of them.

That BM looks very similar to the one my grandfather carries, except I remember his not having a clip (he may have removed it), and it has scales on the handles. That knife looks very nice though, if the clip wasn't so wide, I'd probably buy it.

I like that Spyderco knife, but I dont like how makers are putting the clips more towards the middle of the knives these days. I'm trying to keep a low profile while at school and work, yet I HATE having knives just banging around in my pockets.

I've been looking more and more at the SOG Flash 1 knife. I really enjoy the clip design on it. Anyone used one? Users I've found on here seem to be pretty happy with them. It is also cheaper, in which case I wouldn't mind banging it around a bit.

I have a SOG Flash 1. The handle is a bit small but the blade is real nice. The AO seems to work well and the lock is easy to use. The low ride clip hides the knife well but it also makes it more difficult to draw.

Another knife that fits your criteria is a Kershaw Scallion. 2.25" blade, liner lock, pocket clip, and assisted opening.

I've already got a Kershaw Chive and Leek, looking for something a little different.

I really like that Spyderco knife posted above, I just wish that clip was a litttttle bit higher on it. Maybe I'll just drill/tap new holes on it, who knows.

You're the second person to mention that it is hard to draw. How hard are we talking? Annoyingly hard, or just takes some getting used to?

Steveky is right on with the Kershaw Scallion. Check them out.

The Scallion (and it's big brother the Leek) are some of the slimmest, lightest, most simple yet functional knives I have ever seen. Soo small you wont even know they are there (and will sometimes forget they are). Price is in the range you want. Scallion has many color options, including an near-all black version, so it can blend in nicely.

I've been carrying the Leek for the past 6 months now. While I like it, I'm looking for a smaller blade and just something different. I get bored of knives after 6 months, I'm sure you guys all know the feeling.

I've narrowed it down to that Spyderco Alemite and the Sog Flash 1. Where can I find a good price on that Alemite to compare them?

My suggestion is the Wegner Mouse II in G10 and S30V. A small folder but a real workhorse. Lifetime Warranty.

I hate to keep making new threads, but it really does help me to answer the questions I have better. Check out my new one in this forum called "Sog Flash 1 Vs. Spyderco Alemite Walker"

Thanks for the help guys.
